About ICARIUM Consulting
Founded in 2004 under the name of the Jactin Group, the company first specialized in the management of projects in process reengineering during the first 10 years of its existence. Documenting business processes, identifying areas for improvement in line with Lean Management principles, project management in process reengineering, and change management were the company’s raison d’être.
In 2014, the company restructured its activities and was split into three distinct divisions: Training, Human Capital and Strategy & Performance.
Since then, we have worked with many public and private sector organizations to not only develop the full potential of managers, but above all to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients.
What does ICARIUM mean?
It is in fact a reference to the Icarus Paradox, a neologism defined by Danny Miller in 1990 in a book of the same title. This term refers to the phenomenon by which a company is failing soundly after a period of apparent success, and where this failure is due to the same elements that initially allowed the latter to be successful.
We are referring here to Icarus of Greek mythology who drowned after flying too close to the sun. Indeed, it is the same wings that allowed him to escape from a labyrinth and fly high in the sky that will have caused his loss when they melted under the effect of the heat of the sun’s rays and caused its fall to water, hence the paradox.
ICARIUM Consulting has a team of collaborators who participate, through their expertise, in the execution of the various mandates of the company.
